Right now we are dealing with unique circumstances in the world, and Barnes Wheaton GM has enacted a unique initiative in response to requests from our valued customers, to make sure your new or used purchase and your vehicle maintenance or repairs can be completed with a minimum amount of potential exposure to public crowds.
           
            We understand these services are essential to many customers that rely on their vehicles in their daily lives. We're taking responsible measures to create a safe and sanitary environment for our employees and customers. 
       
This is how the Buy From Home Program works: 
          

            

1. Using our website, choose the vehicle in our inventory that best suits your needs. 

           
           

2. Email salesns@barneswheatongm.com or call us at 604-584-7411.


           

3. One of our professional sales staff can do a facetime/live video walk through on the vehicle of your choice to help you with any specific questions on the vehicle. 


           

4. If it fits your needs and wants, we will deliver the vehicle directly to your door (fully cleaned and sterilized) for a complimentary test drive. 


           

5. If you are wishing to trade-in your current vehicle, we can also provide a complimentary appraisal. (If you don't end up purchasing the vehicle, we will return your current vehicle fully sterilized.)


           

6. Upon your final approval of the vehicle, we will prepare a document package for you to complete your purchase online. 
           

7. Within the next few days, existing owners of GM vehicles with OnStar Crisis Assist* will be given 3GB of free Wifi data for their usage in an effort to support them through these challenging times. 
           
           
           
           
           

           

Service Department Details 

         
           

1. Usual service hours are currently in effect at this time.
         

  
2. We are modifying shuttle service to practice social distancing. 
       

    
3. We recommend customers use our drop box service and we will communicate via telephone or email.
       

    
4. Our staff will be using protective equipment and will be wiping down all contact points of your vehicle. 

           

At the request of our customers, we have introduced an approach that helps take reasonable and responsible steps to minimize risk, while our health professionals search for solutions. We genuinely care for our customer's well-being and are searching for way to make your car buying experience a pleasant, stress free one, even in these trying times. 


           
      We are also willing to offer a flexible payment plan OAC (No payments for 3 or 6 months).

           

Barnes Wheaton is practicing all Health Canada and BC Health Services recommendations in terms of in store health policies and etiquette, however we understand that for some customers and employees, we need to go that extra mile to protect those that are concerned about their health or feel they are more vulnerable.
